New beginnings

I don't know for sure how many "new beginnings" I have had in my 60+ years, but I suspect there have been a lot.

Yesterday I finished up my clean-up work at Cedar Grove Elementary School where I have been a relief principal since early in October. It was my intention to stay there until Spring Break, and longer if needed, but a couple of weeks ago my body started to tell me that I seemed to be on a bit of a down hill slope and not wishing a repeat of my life at the end of 2010 and the first months of 2011, I have listened to what my doctor has said about taking the time away from daily work adventures and listen to what my body is trying to tell me. I did enjoy the past four months a lot and you can read about the days at the blog I kept while working.

A daily write... I don't think I can necessarily keep that up with my life moving forward since the interesting content of being a school principal isn't quite as busy or interesting :)

Mind you, I am keeping up with my 365 (this year 366) photography - a challenge I took up on January 1, 2009. I have been consistent with that project, not missing a day for publishing since then. Today I took a bit of a different look at the Gibsons Marina.

This morning I also visited the gym and participated in a fitness class. Although I have been to the gym in the months prior to going back to Cedar Grove it was always to work out on my own and I haven't been since October. I thought I could use the focus of a class and it proved a good way for me to get back into things.

So, will I write here more often? Who knows, but perhaps I will see you tomorrow...

Great start Bob. Don't miss a day...then it becomes easier to miss the 2nd day....and so on. I thought it was interesting that another Bob Cotter, about my age, was interested in family, golf, cooking and photography. So, I decided to follow your blog.
All the best,
